Brilliant McGrath scoops top award
St Mirren handed out their official player of the year awards with midfield maestro Jamie McGrath picking up the top gong.
The awards ceremony took place live on St Mirren TV following the club’s final Scottish Premiership match of the season against Dundee United.
Awards were presented for St Mirren player of the year, young player of the year, social media player of the year and goal of the season.
Jamie McGrath was named as the official player of the year after an incredible season which saw the Irishman net 17 goals in 46 appearances.
St Mirren youth academy graduate Ethan Erhahon was named young player of the year for the second time.
The 20-year-old first won the award in 2018/ 19 and picked it up again after an impressive season in which he made 40 appearances for the firstteam.
Ethan also picked up the goal of the season award for his stunning strike against Aberdeen in the Scottish Premiership back in October.
The final award was presented to Jak Alnwick after he was voted player of the year by supporters on social media.
The Saints goalkeeper has featured 45 times for the Buddies since signing last summer.
In those 45 appearances, Jak has kept 13 clean sheets and become a real fans favourite after a string of impressive performances.
