Food for thought

A fund to help improve food and health education is now open to schools across Renfrewshire.

The Food for Thought education fund provides cash for schools to work together with local businesses on food education projects.

The fund gives successful applicants up to £ 3,000 towards a project that can help educate young people on all aspects of food and drink - from production to consumption.

The fund is operated by Education Scotland and is open to everyone in education, from early years centres to high schools.
