Paralympian Scott is new ambassador for Erskine
Veteran and Paralympic sportsman Scott Meenagh has become an ambassador for the Erskine charity.
Scott,31, has supported Erskine’s veterans since 2015, attending fundraising events and the charity’s yearly Sporting Senior Games.
Hailed as one of the most inspiring athletes to come out of the 2018 Winter Paralympics, Scott is currently training to compete at the 2022 Games in Beijing in Para Nordic Skiing.
Scott said:“It is a tremendous honour to be named as an ambassador for Erskine veterans’charity.
“Erskine has been setting the standards for veterans’care for over a century and seeing the incredible work they do gives me, and fellow veterans, real confidence in the life-long availability to us and our families.”
The former Paratrooper paramedic stepped on an improvised explosive device in January 2011.
