Super Saints are golden with SFA
St Mirren has been handed its UEFA Licence Award following an appeal.
The club had initially been refused the award, which allows teams to compete in European competitions.
However, the Paisley side have now been granted both an SFA Gold licence and the UEFA standard.
Saints are one of only three clubs in the entire Scottish game to be awarded the prestigious Gold licence and the challenge now is for the club to build on this standing and reach the Platinum level.
Chief Executive, Tony Fitzpatrick said: “The progress within the club continues and this is reflected in these decisions. The club has achieved the goal set by the board of directors in attaining both the Gold licence and the UEFA licence and will continue to build upon this across all areas of the club.”
