Cops probe robbery

Three Th thugs jumped and robbed a man as he spoke to a woman with missing teeth in a Johnstone car pa park.

The 23-year-old victim was at attacked by three men at Jo Johnstone High School after going to meet a woman in her 40s or 50s on Sunday night.

Cops said he was then am ambushed by three yobs who stole his car keys during the incident, which happened at around 11.30pm.

The victim suffered a minor facial injury and was left badly shaken by the ordeal.

Detectives probing the attack say they want to speak to the woman he met with.

She is described as being of heavy build, aged 40 to 50s, with some missing teeth and blonde or brown hair in a ponytail.

She was wearing a grey jumper and was driving a small, white car.

The three men were wearing dark clothing, masks and gloves.

Detective Constable Jade Clark, of Paisley CID, said:“Our enquiries are continuing to identify and trace the three men involved and we are also keen to get in touch with the woman who spoke to the victim.

“Anyone with any informatio­n that will assist our investigat­ion should contact Paisley CID via 101.”
