Welcome to the Costa del Paisley
Buddies made the most of the bank holiday sunshine yesterday as temperatures in Paisley rivalled Barcelona.
The sun was shining yesterday and over the weekend, with the mercury hitting highs of 22 degrees in the town.
Those looking to catch some rays hit Barshaw Park to soak up the sun, including youngsters Jack Haughie, six, and 11-year-old Aimee Tarbet.
The mini heatwave is set to continue throughout the week, with the sun expected to be making an appearance until at least
Thursday.
The Met Office predicts temperatures in Paisley and the surrounding areas will hit 23 degrees today and tomorrow, which will rival temperatures in Barcelona.
However, forecasters warn it will cool down later in the week, with some chance of showers but heat-seekers can still enjoy top temperatures of around 18 or 19 degrees into the weekend.
