Libraries reopen

-

East Renfrewshire Culture and Leisure has announced plans to reopen several libraries this month for book browsing, computer access and click and collect services.

Customers wi l l b e welcomed back to libraries including Neilston from Monday.

Other facilities including Barrhead Foundry, which has been operating click and collect services and computer access since April, will also be available for book browsing.

Scott Simpson, from East Renfrewshire Culture and Leisure, said: “We’re excited to welcome readers back to our libraries and to continue supporting the local community with their love of reading. Our staff have been working hard behind the scenes to get ready for reopening at each venue while offering selected services, as part of our reopening plans.

“We’re also looking forward to welcoming readers back to our remaining libraries when they reopen.”

Limited book browsing and PC sessions will be in place and due to restricted visitor numbers, customers are urged to confirm availability in advance to book a onehour slot.
