Lock-up break in witness appeal
Police are appealing for witnesses after a crook tried to break into an Erskine lockup.
The suspect attempted to force a shutter at the storage containers to the rear of the Kilpatrick Drive shops in the town.
Cops probing the incident, which happened between 3.30am and 4am on Sunday, appealed for witnesses to come forward.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: “If you saw or heard anything suspicious in the area, please get in touch with officers.
“I would also urge people to be vigilant and to report anything which appears unusual or suspicious.”
