ATM installed without authority
A cash machine has been installed at a Paisley fish and chip shop without authority.
The Fish Junction in Gordon Street in the town has now been forced to get retrospective planning permission after it installed the machine before getting the go- ahead from Renfrewshire Council.
The planning department has now received an application for the shopfront at 6B Gordon Street.
ATM firm NoteMachine supplied the dispenser.
They said: “It as the principal benefit to the community of providing cash on demand.
“Which will also encourage people to visit and use local shops, benefiting the shop keepers.”
