New chapter as the village library opens
A village library is back in the book lending business again.
Staff members Heather and Rachel have got Neilston Library back where it belongs in the community after being closed due to the pandemic.
Up to eight bookworms are allowed in at any one time.
East Renfrewshire Culture and Leisure said:“Heather has been busy at Barrhead Foundry library supporting customers with click and collect and PC services.
“Rachel has been volunteering at the testing centre at Cowan Park in Barrhead for the past few months.
“Both are ready and excited to welcome customers back through Neilston Library doors and have lots of lovely books to share.”
