Cat charity issues plea for donations

The Scottish SPCA is appealing for items for cats in the care of their Glasgow Animal Rescue and Rehoming Centre.

The facility in Cardonald, the nearest centre to Renfrewshire, has cared for nearly 200 cats in 2021 so far and needs scratching posts as well as non-biological washing powder.

Scratching posts and washing powder can be donated via the centre’s Amazon wishlist at https://amzn.to/3z8BSkv or sent from another online retailer that can deliver.

Items can also be left in the donation bins outside the centre at 125 Kinnell Place, Glasgow G52 3RY.
