Additional covid vaccine slots
People in Renfrewshire can now sign up to make sure they get their second vaccine dose within eight weeks of their first .
Additional appointments have now been made available to allow people in the NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde area to receive their second dose of the covid vaccine within the eight- week time frame.
Appointments can be booked through the NHS Inform website and are available from today through to Sunday, June 20.
Patients who already have second appointments booked and the time between first and second dose is longer than eight weeks, are able to move their appointments forward if they wish.
Second vaccination appointments for people who received the AstraZeneca vaccine for their first dose are available at all NHSGGC vaccination clinics.
For those people who received the Pfizer vaccine for their first dose, two clinics have been set up at the Glasgow Central Mosque on June 18 and 19.
