Praise for residents who took covid test

Well done to the people of Glenburn and Foxbar who turned up for a covid test when a mobile testing unit was set up for a week at Glenburn Community Centre.

More than 1,100 tests were carried out and 69 positive cases were identified, with 29 of these from people who didn’t show any coronavirus symptoms.

This meant they were able to self isolate and not pass the virus to anyone else in the community.

I want to thank those who came along to be tested as it showed a great sense of social responsibility and care for their family, friends and neighbours.
