Carers Centre panel

Renfrewshire Carers Centre is appealing for local people to join its Carers Panel.

The organisation, which provides support to carers throughout the local authority, is looking for people to “help make caring visible and valued”.

The appeal comes as the centre celebrates Carers Week, which runs until tomorrow, with this year’s theme of Making Caring Visible and Valued.

The centre is running a number of virtual events for carers and their loved ones to give them a break and support them with the work they do.

A s p o k e s ma n for Renfrewshire Carers Centre said: “Help make caring visible and valued and join our Carers Panel.

“Be involved in consultations that are happening in the area or give views and opinions on service provision.

“The time commitment is one hour a month and could help carers voices be heard.”
