Threats lout had pick axe handle

A man threatened two of his neighbours with a pick axe handle.

Alan Gray, 47, flipped out at Mary McDonald and Tomasz Flisiuk at Gallowhill Road, Paisley, on May 16.

Gray appeared at Paisley Sheriff Court where he pleaded guilty to a charge of behaving in a threatening and abusive manner in that he shouted at the pair and brandished a pick axe handle, or similar implement, at them.

Defence agent Kirsty McGeehan confirmed her client was pleading guilty.

But she reserved her defence of Gray until after the court had obtained background reports ahead of handing him his punishment.

Sheriff Lindsey Kooner released him on bail with special conditions that he does not approach or contact the victims.

Gray, of Gallowhill Road, was ordered to appear back at court on July 9 where he will discover his fate.
