Have a picnic for Erskine

Buddies are being urged to come together with family and friends and enjoy a picnic together - all to help raise money for Erskine.

Er s k i n e Ve t e r a n ’ s Charity - which is based in Renfrewshire - is urging people to host a picnic in the lead up to Armed Forces Day on June 22.

Those who would like to organise their own picnic can contact the charity for their own special ‘picnic pack’ which will be full of hints, tips and recipes for a perfect picnic.

Erskine will be hosting its own Big Picnic virtual event on June 26 which can be watched from its Facebook page.

The charity will be joined by actress Elaine C Smith and a host of entertainment, special guests and an auction will raise money for the veterans’ charity.

Those who would like to take part can tune in from 2pm on the day for the Virtual Erskine Big Picnic.
