Fun in the sun for rugby club’s friendly tournament
Paisley Rugby Club seniors added a touch of fun as they competed against each other in fancy dress.
The Anchor played host as adult members came together in the sun for a friendly touch rugby tournament.
Team ‘Cheer up it might never Happen’ won the round robin phase of the tournament and took on second place ‘ The Jockey Club’ in the final.
The Jockey Club took the spoils in the final but the tournament was declared a draw as both teams competed well throughout the day.
Club captain Euan Stuart said: “It was great to have everyone at the club.
“It shows such great unity, having adults from each section come together and enjoy the sport again.
“It’s been a tough 12 months and this felt like a massive return to something more normal.
“I was delighted to be part of it and thank you to everyone who made the day successful.”
