Frame at last for budding artists

Made in Paisley members show off their latest creations

-

There has been no shortage of creativity at Made in Paisley as art enthusiasts of all ages get back into the swing of their weekly classes.

Both adults and children’s classes at the High Street art studio are back up and running following months of closures due to covid restrictions.

Inspirations were taken from all kinds of places as young and adult members of the group celebrated finishing their latest pieces last week.

Some had used nature to help bring their canvas to life, creating oil paintings of scenic views and animals; while others painted portraits and images from their favourite books and films.

All of the artists use an array of materials at the classes such as oil and acrylic paints, pastels and charcoal.

The founders of the group, Sandy Guy and Caroline Gormley, have been welcoming back art lovers of all ages to the space and helping them get in touch with their creative sides.

The group sessions are run every week, with both Sandy and Caroline helping people produce their own works of art in their own style.

The duo are delighted to be back in action.

Caroline said: “It’s great to be back in the swing of things. Thank you to everyone for their support.”
