A resident of the Quarriers Renfrewshire supportive living initiative is taking on a charity walk to help others.
Christopher Graham, from Johnstone, will pull on his boots for a sponsored walk to fund a day out for all those supported by the service which helps adults with learning, physical disabilities to live in their own homes within the community.
Christopher, 38, will be walking from Walkinshaw Street in Johnstone to Barshaw Park and back on Friday, April 28 with his team leader Caron.
Money raised will go towards organising a day out to Blair Drummond Safari Park and a garden party.
Christopher said:“I want to raise money so that everyone can get together for a day out. We are friends but we don’t get to see each other very often and it will cheer everyone up. The walk is a good way to keep fit and raise money. I’m hoping to have a stop at Barshaw Park for a coffee and a cake before walking back.”
You can donate to the fund-raising effort on his JustGiving page at www. justgiving.com/ Christopher-Graham25
