New talent will take to the stage

It is a night of new emerging talent at The Bungalow this evening.

The very popular Saturday afternoon sessions continue tomorrow with Bobby Deans Big Band. Free entry and doors are 1pm.

The UK official tribute band to the internatio­nal singing superstar known as Pink, and one of THE biggest selling acts in the world and a Grammy award winner, plays for the first time at The Bungalow tomorrow night.

Lorraine Colville will rock your world performing two-and-a-half hours of Pink’s hits spanning her 20year career.

She is accompanie­d by her dancers and is backed with a full live band through a state-of-the-art sound system, an out-of-this-world lighting show and she gives you her absolute all – Pretty As Pink will leave you begging for more.

Doors at 7pm and it is a sell-out. Itchycoo Park are playing a Mothers’s Day special on Sunday. It is a free gig and doors are 1pm.

On Tuesday, the open stage session is a ‘Paint and a Pint’ fundraiser for Endometrio­sis UK.

All profits from this event including ticket sales will be sent to endometrio­sis UK who contribute to the support of endometrio­sis sufferers and provide a reliable source of informatio­n to inform the public and patients of this little researched condition.

Join Scunnurt at The Bungalow to launch their new single Lemon Tree on Thursday with support from Foreign2 and Dying Giant.

The Mike Andrew’s Elvis show is at Venue tomorrow night. This is a show that will take you from the famous 68 comeback special through to his hugely successful Vegas years. Tickets on the door from 7pm.

On Sunday, why not treat your Mother on Mother’s Day? Venue has Mike Andrew performing his UK’s No 1 tribute to Robbie Williams.

The day is from 1pm to 6pm and includes tea/coffee, sandwiches, cakes, scones, a glass of fizz and a show which is perfect for treating the most important person in your life.

Live music as always is at The Old Swan tonight from 7pm and tomorrow at 4pm. On Sunday, it looks sold-out for The Old Swan Mother’s Day afternoon.

If you are going you are in for a treat from Graham Millar on sax, Lee James singing his ‘Through the Decades’ set and Brian Leslie on decks 1pm to 4pm.

Gerry Kirk is playing on Monday from 4pm, Lee James is back again on Tuesday and Thursday from 3pm, Duncan McClellan starts at 4pm on Wednesday.

Small Towns Down are at The Keg tonight from 9pm and, tomorrow night, ‘The Rawk Gods’ MrDb are back again for more classic rock and some originals. They start at 9pm. The Keg Sessions continue on Thursday at 9pm for more original acts.

On Saturday, due to popular demand, the fantastic Paul Weller Experience is back at The Cave from 2.30 to 4.30pm. Later at 7pm, it is Dirty Jewels. Emergency Exit is playing on Sunday from 6pm.

Canyon is at Kennedys on Sunday and over at The Inn on the Corner, it is Ragamuffin from 4pm.

Open Mic/Stage sessions next week are: The Abbey at 9pm on Monday, Ugly Duck Monday at 7pm, The Gantry at 9pm on Tuesday, The Bungalow on Tuesday 7pm and The Keg on Wednesday at 8.30pm.
