Buddies are being encouraged to secure their tickets for the annual spring Renfrew Burgh Band concert as the musicians prepare to take to the stage with an international soloist.

The band – formed in 1911 – is to perform in a concert in Renfrew Town Hall with guest soloist and virtuoso trombone player, Brett Baker.

Principal trombonist with the world-famous Black Dyke Band for more than two decades, Brett

Looking ahead to the event, musical director Mark Good said :“Taking to the stage in Renfrew Town Hall is always a pleasure for Renfrew Burgh Band.

“And we’re honoured to be joined by one of the finest trombonists in the world in the form of Brett Baker.
