-

A number of retailers at Braehead shopping centre are offering customers a better shopping experience after undergoing upgrades this spring.

Health and wellbeing brand Holland & Barrett, lingerie and adult retailer Ann Summers and British bakery chain Greggs have all undergone a facelift.

Holland & Barrett’s upgraded store reopened on the lower level of the centre last week, with a new and improved design. The enhanced unit stocks the brand’s full range of health foods and supplements, aiming to bring customers a‘better wellness experience’.

Ann Summers’newly-designed store, meanwhile, reopened in recent weeks and reflects the brand’s refreshed modern look. It is located on the upper level of the centre and continues to stock Ann Summers’full range of adult products and lingerie.

Greggs’new unit, which also reopened at the end of March, is located on the upper level of the centre. It has undergone internal layout changes, incorporating additional seating, meaning more shoppers can enjoy the brand’s range of freshly baked goods.

Steve Gray, head of European retail asset management at Global Mutual, said:“We work closely with our tenants to ensure our offer remains fresh and compelling for guests.

“We are therefore delighted that these much-loved brands have decided to invest in their presence here. It reflects confidence in the centre, our relationships and in physical retail more broadly.”

He added:“We’ve seen robust year-on-year footfall growth, reflecting the positive response from our customers – underscoring Braehead’s position as a prime retail and leisure destination.”
