Perforate/emboss
• Remove from the grid and with the Pergamano mini semi-circle perforating tool, shallow perforate along the bottom and side edges of the panel.
• With the 1.5mm embossing tool, emboss inside each of the perforated semi-circles.
• Re-perforate deeply with the mini semicircle perforating tool.
Cut
• With parchment scissors, cut between the outer perforations.
Mount
• Cut four rectangles from grey card measuring 5x9cm.
• Cut four rectangles from pink card measuring 5.5x9.5cm.
• With one strand of pink embroidery thread, stitch the parchment panels, through the grid work perforations, to the grey card rectangles.
• With double-sided tape, mount onto the pink card rectangles.
HANDLE
Step 8
• With double-sided tape, fix a length of pink gingham ribbon across a piece of plain parchment paper 21cm wide.
Perforate/emboss
• With the Pergamano mini semi-circle perforating tool, shallow perforate on the parchment paper, along each side of the ribbon;
• With the 1.5mm embossing tool, emboss inside each of the perforated semi circles.
• Re-perforate deeply with the mini semicircle perforating tool.
Cut
• With parchment scissors, cut between the outer perforations.
Mount
• With double-sided tape, mount the ribbon strip onto a piece of grey card measuring 21x1.6cm., then onto a piece of pink card measuring 21x1.8cm and white card measuring 21x2cm.
• With straight scissors, trim the ends neatly.
BOX STRUCTURE
Step 9
• Cut a piece of white card to 22cm square.
• Score at 6cm and 16cm horizontally and vertically (see diagram 2).
• Cut along the solid lines as marked on diagram 2.
• Place Perga glue in the areas marked X on diagram 2.
Finish
• With double-sided tape, fix the parchment panels in place on the sides of the basket.
• Line the basket with pink gingham card.
• With extra strong double-sided tape, trim the top edge of the basket with pink gingham ribbon.
• Fix the handle in place with Perga glue.
• Tie the label to the handle (covering any ribbon joins).
• Add a pink gingham ribbon bow to the top of the label with extra strong double-sided tape.
