The Friends of the Eastgate Theatre are holding a fundraisin­g car boot sale from 10am until 1pm in Tesco Carpark, Peebles on Saturday, April 20. The cost is £10 per car. For further informatio­n and to book a space email ca.bruce@btinternet.com.

Memory Café

Thursday, April 4, 2.30-4.30pm, Firholm Day Centre, Peebles.

For persons living alone or with dementia and their carers, family and friends to socialise together over a cup of tea and chat, table games, and other activities. Today Jean will lead a good fun seated exercise session to lovely music. Car parking is limited so please defer to blue badge holders. Recollecti­ve Choir

Every Tuesday afternoon 2.45-3.45pm at Dovecot Court, Peebles, for people living with dementia and other life-limiting conditions, their carers, supporters and friends. The project is funded by Friends of Dovecot Court and Nomad Beat and led by Anna Ludwig. Please come along and sing for fun, sitting down, and no pressure to perform. Songs we know and love. Wheelchair­s welcome. Cup of tea afterwards. All free.

Peebles Hydro ballroom, grand spring ceilidh tea dance – Friday, April 19, 2.30-4.30pm.

Live Band Dave Robb and Friends. Dances called and demonstrat­ed.

You don’t need a partner, just come along and enjoy the music and dance if you want to.
