These were my favourite gloves, until a few weeks ago. The fit, feel and comfort are superb, and they felt secure and well made enough to reassure me they’d stand up to a tumble down the road. The wrist and cuff closure Velcro has remained secure after 3000-odd miles, and they’re long enough to overlap my leathers. Not always the case if you’ve long arms.

Then I found one of the finger tips had lost its stitching and opened up. I haven’t crashed in them, or done anything out of the ordinary to compromise the external seams, so I can only assume they’ve simply worn through or failed. It’s possibly a one-off, but it’s too big an issue for me to have further faith in another set.

Good for nose-picking, not hand protection
