Hot under the collar
THE WEATHER WAS screaming hot on the day we we attended Donington for the No Limits trackday. Air temperature was between 30 and 33°C all day long, and the tarmac was hot to touch, but in good condition everywhere, with no signs of wear due to the summer-long high temperatures. The UK heatwave (remember that?) was at its peak. Despite being a very busy day, the standard of riding was very high with no red flags all day. Rutter was able to put in as many laps as he wanted.
