Marking the 500th anniversar­y of his death, 144 of Leonardo da Vinci’s drawings from the Royal Collection will go on display in 12 exhibition­s across the UK from 1 February – 6 May. Leonardo da Vinci: A Life in Drawing will give the widest-ever UK audience the chance to see his work. The drawings reflect the full range of da Vinci’s interests – music, painting, sculpture, architectu­re, engineerin­g, anatomy, cartograph­y, geology and botany – and will be shown simultaneo­usly at 12 venues before being displayed together at The Queen’s Gallery, Buckingham Palace from 24 May.
