Tony’s tips for sourcing architectural salvage

● Do not try to remove any moss or growth on an item for outdoor use as this is what makes it look genuine and it is how it should be left.

● There are lots of reproductions out there and sometimes it is very hard to tell the difference from a genuine original. If you’re not sure, walk away.

● Most antique items bought today are not expected to go up in value as they often did, so just buy to enjoy. If they do start to increase in value it will be a bonus.
