DISCOVER BRITISH CRAFT

-

One of the UK’S most loved destinations for discovering artisan crafts, Craft Festival, returns with two live events. Enjoy an inspiring day out with PL’S exclusive ticket offer

After a series of virtual fairs, the must-visit event for lovers of British-made artisan crafts, Craft Festival, is back with not one, but two, live shows this summer. From 10-12 September, the festival will return to the idyllic parkland setting of Mill Marsh Park, Bovey Tracey for its 18th year, with 200 designer-makers from across the UK showcasing the finest in ceramics, wood, silver, jewellery, glass, textiles and more. Also, on 13-15 August, the Craft Festival Cheltenham will be running at the historic setting of Cheltenham Town Hall for the third year, offering the opportunity to buy unique pieces from over 100 makers and to chat with creatives first hand about their carefully curated work. ‘At Craft Festival we showcase the best in British craft, and celebrate making and small businesses from across the country,’ says organiser Sarah James. ‘We can’t wait to welcome visitors back to meet the makers, to shop, take part in workshops, and enjoy the festival atmosphere we know visitors love.’ As well as the chance to buy unique pieces directly from the artisans, both events will offer live demonstrations and the chance to get hands-on by booking onto one of many creative workshops, from modern calligraphy to stone carving.
