BLACKLAND HOUSE, WILTSHIRE

Varied garden, adjacent to the River Marden in Calne, with an abundance of gorgeous historic tulips and other unusual spring bulbs. Open Friday 22 April and Sunday 1 May, 2:30pm–4pm.

ARLEY HALL & GARDENS, CHESHIRE Eight acres of formal gardens in Northwich, packed full of horticultural history. There is a well-established arboretum and a woodland walk. Open Monday 11 April 10am–4:30pm.
