I thought you might like to know how my copies of Period Living are recycled. I have enjoyed the magazine for 25 years and, at first, I just threw away the old copies. However, about 15 years ago my daughter-in-law showed an interest in my back issues and so I saved them up for her. She has found them useful when teaching art in schools. Recently, she began a new career caring for patients with dementia and she has used some of the magazines to encourage reminiscence, stories and collage. They have proved to be a very fruitful resource. Marian Borrows
