Get creative with windows

Choosing the right window design for your home can transform its appearance. See your new windows as an opportunity to get creative.

Shaping up

Rather than opting for standard rectangular designs, consider steel-framed windows or external doors with arches or curves. You may want to make a feature with a Sixties-style picture window or maximise the view with a panoramic design. If your home has a Victorian gothic look, consider lancet-shaped windows.

Show your colours

Historically, windows were a colourful canvas. However, recently this has been lost in favour of clear glass designs. Consider an interior steel screen set with different-sized colour glass to create a talking point, or introduce a coloured glass motif into a porthole window for added elegance. ●
