DAHLIA ‘THOMAS EDISON’
‘We have lots of dahlias in our garden but this one is a stand-out favourite. It has a spectacularly intense magenta colour and its bloom of nearly 20cm across is carried on strong, dark stems. It is a fabulous cut flower, too.’
HEPTACODIUM MICONIOIDES ‘This multi-stemmed, tough and vigorous shrub carries fragrant white flowers and has attractive peeling bark. It also acts as a great support for roses and late-flowering clematis.’
ANTHEMIS ‘TETWORTH’
‘With daisy flowers all summer long, anthemis makes a great edge-of-border plant that is tall enough to offer support to other border plants.’ With an upright habit and soft grey cut leaves this useful addition also works well as a foil against other colours.
