In uplifting autumnal tones of golds and yellows, countered by hazy pink and blue, The Plough is a nostalgic capsule fabric collection that perfectly depicts a bucolic life. Created by Beki Bright, the fabrics honour her grandparents’ farm in the Suffolk countryside, where they had lived for 30 years and gathered a lifetime’s worth of objects. There are three designs: The Plough, an abstract depiction of the thatched farmhouse; Dolly, inspired by the traditional corn doll Durham chandelier and rustic mochaware pottery; and Thatch, inspired by the patterns seen on thatched roofs. All fabrics are handprinted in the UK onto 100 per cent linen and are suitable for curtains, blinds, soft furnishings and light upholstery. From £110 per m.
