A YEAR UNFOLDING

Renowned artist and printmaker, Angie Lewin has launched a beautiful wall calendar for 2023, featuring a series of still-life watercolours that were first exhibited at her Nature Assembled solo exhibition at The Scottish Gallery in Edinburgh in 2020. Her distinctive imagery celebrates natural form in intricate detail and she spends a lot of time outdoors walking, sketching, and gathering, finding inspiration in the clifftops and saltmarshes of the North Norfolk coast and the Scottish Highlands. ‘I collect natural objects on my walks: seed heads, feathers and lichen-covered larch branches,’ Angie explains. The wire bounded calendar is printed in the UK on a beautifully textured paper, £11.95 at St Jude’s Prints.
