A Perth woman was jailed for a total of 12 months for a catalogue of offences – one of which included an “extremely unpleasant” rant at a supermarket security guard and a racist tirade at a police officer.

The police were called but as they escorted her from the store she again swore at the guard.

During a second incident in Canal Street on September 30, she repeatedly made racial comments to PC Derek Li, who is of Chinese heritage.

She had been at a nightclub in the Green Room when the police attended.
