Aberdalgie Church The service in the church this Sunday at 9.30am will be led by Reverend James W. Aitchison. Thanks go to the Murdoch family for allowing the church to host their daffodil tea at Methven Castle, which raised an amazing £663. Thanks also go to all who attended and supported this event.

Aberuthven

Joint service will be held in Dunning Church on Sunday at 11am. The stated annual meeting will follow this service.

Almondbank

St Serf’s Church The service and annual stated meeting in the church on Sunday of last week was conducted by Mr Michael Archibald and his sermon was ‘A radically new community’. The scripture readings were read by Christina Bayne, the organist was Irene McLean and the flowers were kindly gifted by Muriel Bacon. Should anyone require the pastoral services of a minister during the vacancy, please contact Mr Michael Archibald on 01738 840995. A reminder that due to the Almondbank Flood Protection Scheme, access to Almondbank will either be by the A85 via Dalcrue or by the A9. The service in the church this Sunday will be at the usual time and everyone is very welcome.

Bankfoot

Bankfoot Church The service in the church this Sunday is at the usual time of 11.15am and will be conducted by the minister. All welcome. Spring fayre A spring fayre will be held in the Church Centre on Saturday, April 8, from 11am to 3pm. Stalls will have something for everyone including plants, bric-a-brac, spring clean, glass, fabrics, paper craft, knitting, cards, handbags, chocolates and a recycle stall. There will also be a tombola and people can bring their children along to Heather’s face painting. Donations will be welcomed for the tombola and can be handed into the office or contact Evelyn on 01738 710534. Lunches and snacks, with ample free parking. Come along for a great day out. Guild concert The Barbers Shop Singers will be giving a concert in the Church Centre on Thursday, April 6, at 7.30pm. There will be a small charge of £5 (including refreshmen­ts) for Guild funds. Come along and enjoy a musical evening. All welcome.
