Man is injured in Blair
Police are appealing for information from the public after a man was found injured in Blairgowrie.
The incident happened on Tuesday, August 8, after the man in his fifties was found lying near the Royal Bank of Scotland in the town’s Allan Street with several injuries.
A statement from Police Scotland said:“Police Scotland is currently dealing with an incident which happened in Blairgowrie around 6-6.30am on Tuesday, August 8.
“A man in his early fifties was found lying in the street with injuries to his face, head and arm, near to the Royal Bank of Scotland in Allan Street.
“He was taken to Ninewells Hospital by ambulance and is still being treated for his injuries there.
“At this time, he has been unable to speak with police, and as such we do not know what happened to him, or how he came to be injured.
“He may have been seen in the area around that time, and may have been under the influence of alcohol.
“He is thought to have been wearing a dark top and dark bottoms, and has grey/white hair.”
