Deliveroo’s premium service comes to Perth

- Ross Gardiner

Deliveroo, the on-demand fooddelivery company, has launched its premium service, Deliveroo Plus, in Perth.

The new subscription service, priced at £7.99 a month, will enable customers to get unlimited free delivery while providing them with new exclusive discounts every month from some of the nation’s favourite restaurants.

Deliveroo Plus is being rolled out nationally following a successful trial in cities across the UK, where over 30,000 customers opted to try out the test service.

During their first two months of signing up to the pilot, half of all customers saved nearly £25 over the time period, whilst one in 10 saved over £75. Customers will be able to benefit further by trialling Deliveroo Plus free for one month.

Dan Warne, UK and Ireland managing director at Deliveroo, said: “Deliveroo Plus presents a fantastic way for us to offer better value for money to our Perth customers.

“Our trial showed us that people really do love the service and we’re working on making it even better with tonnes of additional rewards, like money off from their favourite Deliveroo restaurants.”

Customers in Perth will see the option to sign up to the service on their basket at checkout and in the ‘Account’section of the app and website.

Currently, Perth residents can order food and drink from Dr Noodles, KFC, Monterey Jack’s, Frankie and Benny’s, Broth3rs, Pizza Express, Everest Inn, Willows, Cafe Bodrum, Crunch Munch and The Venue.
