A 49-year-old woman, caught driving with almost SIX times the legal alcohol limit near a Perthshire primary school, had her sentence delayed this week as she is attending a rehabilitation course.
Kim Marsh, of Druid’s Park, Murthly, was to have discovered her fate on Wednesday, April 11, but that has now been deferred until May 2.
She admitted at an earlier hearing that on March 12 this year, on the B9099 Stanley-Murthly road, near Murthly school, she drove a car with 131 microgrammes of alcohol on her breath. The legal limit is 22 microgrammes. She had an interim driving ban imposed and will discover next month how long she will be off the road.
A prosecution motion to forfeit the vehicle was also continued by Sheriff Gillian Wade until next month, when the background to the offence will be given.
