Perth is pre­par­ing for an in­flat­able ex­trav­a­ganza, which will be held at the city’s ice rink.

Tour­ing firm Wacky World is bring­ing its soft play ex­pe­ri­ence to De­war’s Cen­tre on Satur­day and Sun­day May 5-6.

The setup, which is suit­able for peo­ple aged five to 99, will see To­tal Wipe­out, Ex­treme Hun­gry Hip­pos, as­sault cour­ses, gla­di­a­tor du­els and more come to the Fair City func­tion venue.

The ice rink will be con­verted into an in­flat­able arena, com­plete with hu­man wreck­ing ball, big ball chal­lenge and “Screamer”ver­ti­cal drop slide.

Or­gan­is­ers say all you need is lots of en­ergy and a cam­era to have a great time at the event, which has had al­most 100,000 com­peti­tors to date.

The event of­fers ses­sions for kids, bat­tles as a fam­ily or adult only ses­sions, com­plete with a fully stocked bar.
