A brand new per­ma­nent ex­hi­bi­tion to Perth’s very own poet Wil­liam Soutar will be opened this month.

The ex­hi­bi­tion will be set up in the city’s AK Bell Li­brary, and will be of­fi­cially launched on Fri­day, April 27.

To mark the mile­stone, Cul­ture Perth and Kin­ross and the Friends of Wil­liam Soutar will be stag­ing a spe­cial launch night and a lec­ture on the ac­claimed poet.

The lec­ture will be led by au­thor Carl Mac­dougall on the life and works of the bard from 6pm.

Tickets for the Wil­liam Soutar lec­ture and the launch of AK Bell’s per­ma­nent ex­hi­bi­tion are free, but places can be re­served on­line via EventBrite.
