Walking football sessions kick off at Crieff campus

Perthshire Advertiser - - FRONT PAGE -

Walking football sessions are set to kick off at Strathearn Community Campus.

Hosted and organised by Crieff Juniors FC, sessions will take place from 6-7pm on Thursdays at the Pittenzie Road venue.

The sessions are free of charge and start on April 19.

A spokesperson said: “Walking football is exactly what it sounds like: a standard game of football where players walk instead of run.

“It’s designed to help people get fit or maintain an active lifestyle, no matter their age and fitness, as well as support people getting back into football if they have given it up due to age or injury.

“It is also suitable for men and women who have never played before but fancy trying something different.

“So if you want to get fitter, meet new people and have some fun then come along to our free sessions.”

Walking football sessions take place at several locations throughout Perth and Kinross.
