Dentist expands into Strathearn

-

A Perthshire dentist is celebrating after opening his third and fourth practices in the region.

Chris Barrowman, who runs the Infinityblu Dental Care clinics in Pitlochry and Dunkeld, has announced he has bought the Smiles Dental practices in Crieff and Auchterarder from Dr Bruce Duguid and Dr Caroline Bayles.

Although those who already work at the two Strathearn practices will keep their positions, a new associate dentist position will also be created.

Chris is looking forward to his expansion into Crieff and Auchterarder.

He said:“These practices are already working well and providing a very high standard.

“What we will be doing is adding to the range of treatments available for the patients and moving things up a level in terms of our customer service philosophy. Although we now have four sites, we are the opposite of a corporate dentistry firm.

“What our customers have responded to is the individualised care and attention they receive. Our website and social media testimonials over the past 10 years are testimony to that.

“It is all about the customer care. You need to spend time with the patients to find out what they want and not what you think they want. It

Chris is delighted with the new additions is that mindset which draws me to Crieff and Auchterarder because the dentists there work that way too.

“All the staff at the practices are really excited about getting started and there is a really good vibe about the place.”

He added the immediate goal at the new practices will be to clear the existing waiting lists, freeing up space for new patients to register, and introduce both NHS and private patients to all four premises.
