Salutation date for PKC tenant conference

Perth and Kinross Council’s tenant conference will be held tomorrow (Wednesday, June 27).

The annual conference will be held tomorrow in the Salutation Hotel on South Street from 6pm until 8.30pm.

At the conference, tenants will be given feedback on the results of the council’s recent tenant satisfaction and rent setting surveys.

A conversation cafe will also be held to help tenants connect with the local authority’s housing managers.

Topics which can be discussed include finding out what residents’priorities are and what they think rent money should be spent on, and what more can be done to support council tenants, particularly those living in rural locations.

The housing managers on the night will also be looking at ways to find out how they can reach more tenants across Perth and Kinross and tenants can meet the resident participation workers for their neighbourhood.

Children will be kept entertained throughout the conference with activities and there will be refreshments provided.

All those who attend the conference will be entered into a free prize draw to win High Street shopping vouchers.
