The hunt is on to find the most accessible venue in Perth and Kinross.

The Centre for Inclusive Living Perth and Kinross has recently produced a shortlist of venues from across the region that are the most accessible and accommodating.

A number of Perth’s most popular cafes are on the list, including Willows Coffee Shop and Sub Rosa Cafe outside St John’s Kirk, The Lite Bite on Skinnergate and The Mustard Seed inside the National Christian Outreach Centre on Riggs Road.

McDiarmid Park is leading the way as the largest venue on the shortlisted nominations.

And outside the Fair City, The Green Park Hotel in Pitlochry is looking to scoop the top award.

The list was produced based on venues that disabled people in Perth and Kinross find the most accessible.

They were also judged on how helpful and accommodating the staff are, the services provided and the venue’s layout.

Residents can vote for the most accessible venue online at www. surveymonkey.co.uk/r/SLBBQZT

The winner will be announced at the Centre for Inclusive Living’s AGM on Wednesday, August 8.
