Residents in Perth and Kinross looking for a pint this weekend may have further to travel than most in Scotland.
The area has the fifth highest ratio of residents to pubs, bars of clubs in the whole of Scotland.
According to figures released this week, there is one pub or club for every 2798 people across the area.
The figure is higher only in West Lothian, the Highland, Aberdeenshire and East Renfrewshire, where the figure is a whopping 8615.
In contrast, if you are visiting the Borders you won’t have far to travel with 714 people per boozer.
Both Perth and Kinross’Tayside neighbours feature in the top five, with Dundee recording 763 people per pub or club, and Angus 819.
Across the UK the Derbyshire Dales recorded the highest concentration, with one pub or club per 418.
The lowest concentration was in Lisburn in Northern Ireland, with 9509 people per pub or club.
