£40k worth of ski jackets pinched from store
Thieves made off with £40,000 worth of ski jackets from a shop in Perth at the weekend.
Two-hundred jackets made by the likes of North Face, Berghaus and Rab were among the clothes nicked from Tiso Perth Outdoor Experience on Ruthvenfield Road in the early hours of Saturday morning. Police believe the theft occurred between midnight and 2.30am on Saturday morning and are appealing for witnesses to come forward with information.
A statement said:“Police Scotland is appealing for information after 200 ski jackets worth £40,000 were stolen from Tiso, Ruthvenfield Road, Perth. These were stolen between midnight and 2.30am on Saturday, November 3.
“Anyone with any information should contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting CR/26861/18 or speak to any police officers.”
Meanwhile, officers also reported online the theft of £400 from a church in Blairgowrie, believed to have occurred before the weekend.
A separate statement published yesterday said:“Police Scotland is appealing for information after [the] theft of £400 from St Catharine’s Church, George Street, Blairgowrie.
“The money was taken between 5.45pm on Thursday, November 1 and 11am on Friday, November 2. Anyone with any information should contact Police Scotland quoting CR/26850/18.
“Alternatively if you have any information you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers 100 per cent anonymously on 0800 555 111 or via crimestoppers-uk.org.”
