Rebels heading 2018 Book Week

Libraries across Perth and Kinross will be celebratin­g Book Week this year with a rebellious theme.

Literary treats are in store as the week-long celebratio­n of reading and literature sees children’s author David MacPhail, crime writer Sara Sheridan and internatio­nal bestseller Ann Cleeves visit the area.

Perth, Crieff, Kinross and Scone libraries all feature on the list.

Morag Kelly, head of libraries at Culture Perth and Kinross, said: “We’re delighted to celebrate this national literary festival with a packed programme of talks and workshops, giving everyone in the Perth and Kinross community the opportunit­y to share their love of reading.” Some of the events include: • Rebels, rogues and reprobates with Liz Mistry, Tana Collins, Graham Smith and Alex Walters, November 20, AK Bell Library, Perth
