An­i­mal char­ity need do­na­tions

Vol­un­teers at a Perth char­ity shop say they are ur­gently in need of do­na­tions.

The PDSA shop on the city’s Scott Street is need­ing an­i­mal lovers to have a clear out and do­nate un­wanted items to help sick and in­jured pets in the lo­cal area.

Items needed at the shop in­clude CDs, DVDs, books and toys, as well as mens and ladies clothes, shoes and ac­ces­sories.

Janet, the shop’s man­ager, said:“Is your wardrobe bulging with un­worn clothes or your shelves full of books you never read?

“Why not have a clear out this week­end and do­nate your un­wanted items to PDSA? As well as de-clut­ter­ing your home, you’ll be help­ing raise money for the pets of lo­cal peo­ple in need.

“We’re ap­peal­ing for all types of items, es­pe­cially ladies cloth­ing, hand­bags and ac­ces­sories, which are pop­u­lar with our cus­tomers.

“We also need home fur­nish­ings such as vases and or­na­ments, as well as good qual­ity mens, ladies cloth­ing and ac­ces­sories.

“All funds raised will help lo­cal sick and in­jured pets.”

Those who want to do­nate items can drop them off at the shop at 44 Scott Street Mon­day to Satur­day from 9am un­til 5pm, and on Sun­days from noon un­til 4pm.
